A COURSE FOR MEN

"Man Up: Rising to the Role of Headship" is a 13-week investment in your marriage and family and the future of both, designed to help men - young and old, single and married, fathers and childless, grandparents and empty-nesters - understand and carry out the practical and spiritual responsibilities inherent in biblical headship and masculinity. Generations is committed to seeing men of God lead and love their families the way Jesus leads and loves the church. Almost all men want to be good husbands and fathers but far too few have been well equipped to succeed in either role. Many men pursue help in this regard only once their marriage and family are in a crisis mode and that is often too late.

We will consider the current state of marriage, family and masculinity on a cultural as well as personal level, and we will interact with what the scriptures have to say concerning the uniqueness and signficance of the role men play, by God's design, as the heads of their households. There will be weekly assignments for men to complete, and a weekly interactive gathering to ask questions, share insights, challenge ideas, and wrestle with the important and urgent challenges we are facing as men, husbands and fathers. The material will be gospel centered and biblically based, with a strong emphasis on the practical realities of headship.

This Course is FREE to all on Tuesdays, beginning January 10, from 8 - 9:30 p.m.
